Enjoy Our Rentals, Catering, Museum and Drop-In Centre in Edmonton
The Ital-Canadian Seniors Association has so much to offer at our modern facilities, consisting of rentals, catering, museums, and a drop-in centre in Edmonton. From professional conferences and meetings to your big and small events, you can conveniently book our rentals to hold all your celebrations or meetings. Enjoy our professional and deliciously arranged catering arrangements, including buffets. Every meal is cooked in-house only. You can also order take-out for your family or corporate gatherings.
Our museums are a hit among schools looking to arrange fun learning experiences for students. These facilities are also used by seniors from other drop-in centres. All visitors are also welcome to participate in numerous activities that our drop-in centre offers. For our members, volunteers have offered classes in sewing, knitting, crocheting, paper tole, and Italian cuisine. For the general public, our centre has held workshops and seminars that have dealt with various topics of interest.
We have even allowed other organizations to use our facilities for various needs. Some of the organizations that have used our facilities previously include various dance groups. Teachers from high schools, such as St. Cecilia Junior High School, Cardinal Leger Junior High School, and O’Leary High School, have also been welcomed when they bring their classes to our centre. We provide an immersive Italian environment and lessons on how to play bocce, which is a traditional Italian game that resembles lawn bowling.

Rentals
When planning a special event, the biggest challenge is to find the right venue and catering. The Ital-Canadian Seniors Association provides event rentals in Edmonton and makes every celebration more memorable. Whether you are throwing a birthday party or a shower, holding a conference or meeting, or planning a wedding or anniversary, we have enough space to accommodate your small and big gatherings.
Payment Policy
When you book our catering service, you must submit a deposit of $1,000.00, which will be returned to you one to two weeks after your special event if there is no damage to the hall. However, you need to pay the actual payment in full with a certified cheque three days before your special event’s start date. Your balance of payment will be due once we send you our invoice receipt, which will include a gratuity of 15% and applicable taxes.
Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel our catering service for whatever reason four months before your special event’s start date, we will refund you the full deposit.

Catering
If you’re looking for both an elegant setting and a delicious menu for your upcoming banquet or wedding, visit the Ital-Canadian Seniors Association. We offer a catering rental in Edmonton at our centre that will surround your special event in a decadent and warm atmosphere. Our professional culinary team arranges an extravaganza of buffets and menus cooked in-house - no food items are procured from the outside. We also provide take-out for your special events happening outside of our facility.
Before renting our catering service, please note that we need a minimum of one week to register the final number of your guests and a minimum of two weeks to finalize your menu. During our catering service, our hall will be free if you have more than 50 adult guests attending. However, if you have less than 50 adult guests, you will have to pay a service fee of $350.00.
While our bar will close during the dinner service, we don’t allow outside catering, and all catering that you do receive will be considered the property of our centre. If you bring any decorations and liquor from outside the centre, we must ask that you remove them at the end of your function.
Drop-ins
The Ital-Canadian Seniors Association arranges a wide range of drop-in activities in Edmonton for anyone who is looking to escape from the routine and engage in fun games. You can visit us to exercise, catch up over a cup of coffee, watch Italian sports TV, or join our cooking classes for seniors. If you enjoy games, we encourage you to visit our drop-in facility for a game of bocce or cards with friends/acquaintances or try other games like ping-pong, chess, and more.
Museums
As the Ital-Canadian Seniors Association strives to be welcoming, our museum and drop-in centre in Edmonton are not only open to our members, but they are also open to Edmontonians, in general, and our surrounding municipalities.
At our museum, you can see exhibits about the “Coal Miners of Alberta” and more. Read our president’s letter to learn more about our museum. Our museums is often the preferred choice for school group tours that help encourage critical thinking and participatory learning among students. We also welcome seniors from other drop-in centres to explore the richness of Italian-Canadian history.
The items exhibited in our museum have been donated by people who have passed away. All the donations received are for the centre.
