At the Ital-Canadian Seniors Association, our recreational centre in Edmonton serves many purposes, from event rentals and catering to museum tours and senior drop-ins. Our purpose is to help independent seniors and community groups meet their cultural, social, and recreational needs. At the same time, we provide a perfect venue and dedicated catering service to ensure that your every event is a success.

We know that it is not always easy to find time throughout the week to relax or get in touch with our cultural heritage. If you’re looking for a way that will help you routinely meet up with new or old friends or get in touch with your Italian roots, visit us!

We want to provide you with an opportunity to meet with seniors and non-seniors on a daily basis while enjoying yourself and improving your quality of life. To keep you coming to our centre every day, our volunteers make sure that we can offer a variety of fun and relaxing activities for you to participate in.

Enjoy Our Facilities and Services

You are welcome to use our facilities, such as our drop-in centre and museum, as well as rental areas for holding any personal or corporate events, no matter if you are a member of our association, a non-member on your own, or from another organization. Our drop-in centre is open to all Edmontonians and offers recreational activities, such as card games and bocce. As your group enjoys their time at our facility, you can also take advantage of our special catering services, where we serve authentic meals from our exciting menu prepared in-house.

Give Thanks to Our Wonderful Volunteers

Alongside our full-time chef/manager and part-time program coordinator/administrator, we have over 161 volunteers who help support activities that you can enjoy. While helping deliver these activities annually, they are also active in fundraising. As our funding comes from casinos that are assigned every 18 months, all-year-round bingos, every month taralli making our recreational hall and bar, and our catered banquets held in our main hall, we are very grateful for the time our volunteers gave us to keep our facilities running.
